Courses For Schools

Do you work in a secondary school and wonder how you can help Sports lovers develop their confidence and ability? Well, look no further!

We, at TLE Sports Coaching, offer a variety of courses including TLE’s Leadership Award where the young person would receive the support of our team members and be able to develop their skills. We currently run this at Strode College with our Leagues each term. This is a practical way for them to develop their knowledge and skills.

The young people would also be able to access a number of other courses, which are laid out below:

An active and engaging one full day course. The day starts with an exciting assembly, underlining what it means to dream big, believe in yourself and how you can overcome hurdles to achieve your aspirations.

 

There will be individual class workshops exploring the following topics:

  • How to build confidence
  • How to develop belief in yourself
  • Learning about yourself – what are your dreams? What are you passionate and enthusiastic about?
  • Who you want to be and the impact you would like to have?
  • Goal setting and how to set inspiring goals.

This is a day course delivered as an assembly at the start and workshops with individual classes following this.

This will help children understand;

  • Facts about sleep
  • How much sleep can help you become smarter, stronger, happier.
  • How to get good sleep?
  • What can great sleep do for you?
  • How does poor sleep affect you?

This can be delivered as a block of weekly one hour lessons in curriculum time or an after school club – over half a term.

The children will learn:

  • Learn about nutrition
  • Exploring how to create delicious healthy meals and snacks
  • Making and tasting highly nutritious foods.
  • Learning about and understanding food labels and making high quality choices when deciding on foods.
Child dreams of becoming a superhero

This can be run in weekly sessions at lunch or within curriculum time or an after school club.

The course will help with the following:

  • Playground leaders
  • Lead health and wellbeing days.
  • Help with knowledge of sports skills
  • Help with team work
  • Helps the children build confidence within themselves
  • Planning and organisation skills for sports lessons
  • Delegation skills and activities to support being a positive role model for all.
