Job Title: Sports Educator
Location: Primary Schools (Various Locations)
Reports to: Jarrad Cave Employment Type: Full-time/Part-time (flexible based on availability)
Role Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Sports Educator to join our dynamic team. The role will involve delivering high-quality PE lessons, after-school clubs, lunch clubs, breakfast clubs, and active camps, ensuring that children receive a fun, safe, and enriching experience that supports their physical and social development. The Sports Educator will work closely with primary schools, helping to create a positive and engaging environment for children to learn, play, and grow through sport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver PE Lessons: Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive physical education lessons to primary school children, ensuring the curriculum is fun, educational, and accessible for all abilities.
- Lead After-School Clubs: Organize and run extracurricular sports clubs that promote teamwork, fitness, and personal development.
- Facilitate Lunch Clubs & Breakfast Clubs: Supervise and engage children during breakfast and lunch clubs, incorporating active play and games to keep students energized and engaged.
- Wraparound Care: Provide wraparound care for children, creating a supportive environment that includes structured activities and free play.
- Active Camps: Lead holiday camps and active sessions, delivering fun-filled sports activities that encourage children to stay active and develop new skills during the school holidays.
- Promote Sports & Fitness: Encourage children to develop a lifelong love of sports, physical activity, and healthy living through positive reinforcement and role modeling.
- Safety & Wellbeing: Ensure that all activities are delivered safely and that children are properly supervised at all times.
- Collaboration with School Staff: Work in partnership with teachers and school staff to align activities with the school’s objectives, and provide feedback on student progress.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience working with children in a sports coaching, teaching, or educational setting (preferably within primary schools).
- Sports Knowledge: Strong understanding of various sports and physical activities suited for primary school-aged children.
- Passion for Education: A genuine passion for inspiring children to be active and healthy, with the ability to create a positive, fun learning environment.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to engage children effectively, communicate with parents, and collaborate with school staff.
- Safeguarding: A commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times. An enhanced DBS check will be required.
- First Aid: A valid first aid qualification is desirable but not essential (training will be provided if required).
- Team Player: Ability to work well within a team and be flexible to support different activities and events.
- Level 2 sports coaching qualification (or equivalent).
Desirable Qualifications:
- Degree or qualification in Sports Education, PE, or a related field.
- Experience with different age groups within primary schools.
- Additional coaching qualifications (e.g., in football, rugby, dance, or gymnastics) are a plus.

Job Title: After School Club Play Leader
Location: Primary Schools (Various Locations)
Reports to: Jarrad Cave Employment Type: Full-time/Part-time (flexible based on availability)
We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive candidate to join us from 3:30–5:30pm during term time as part of our high-quality OFSTED-accredited setting. Additional optional overtime may be available during our active camps.
As a play leader you will run a variety of activities, including sports, board games, arts and crafts.
Desirable qualifications:
- First aid/Paediatric training
- Safeguarding
- Enhanced DBS check
- Previous experience working within a childcare setting

- Term time only, with the option of holiday work
- Locations: Catcott, Coxley, Westonzoyland
- Salary: To be discussed
- Hours: 5-10 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
